Christine Friedman, MD
OBGYN
Dr. Friedman was born and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey. She attended Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, where she received bachelor’s degrees in both Biology and Spanish. She then graduated Cum Laude from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, where received her medical degree. During medical school she discovered her passion for Obstetrics and Gynecology and for providing care to women.
She then came back to her home state of New Jersey for residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. There, she was appointed Chief Resident. She is proficient in minimally invasive surgery and received awards for her surgical skills during residency. She was also trained on the Da Vinci robotic surgical system. Dr. Friedman provides comprehensive care to patients of all ages, from adolescence to menopause. She is proficient in Spanish.
In her free time, she enjoys running, Pilates and playing piano and clarinet. She also loves to explore New York City with her husband and spend time with her two cats.
