About Dr. Tou
Cheng Tou, MD, FACOG, is an OB/GYN serving patients at Pure OBGYN’s three convenient New York City locations. She is proud to provide comprehensive health care to women in New York City.
Dr. Tou earned her Bachelor of Science from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at the City College of New York, where she completed the accelerated medical program. She received her medical degree from the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University in New York. Afterward, she completed her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Hahnemann University Hospital, affiliated with Drexel University College of Medicine.
She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and certified in Basic Life Support. Dr. Tou is also a diplomate and fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has conducted several research studies throughout her career. To better serve more patients, she is fluent in Cantonese and proficient in Mandarin and Spanish.
Outside of work, Dr. Tou enjoys playing piano, violin, and guitar, as well as creative writing and poetry.
