Nicole Palmer, DO
OBGYN
Dr. Palmer was born and raised in New York City. She graduated from University of Maryland- College Park with a Bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology and Genetics. Dr. Palmer has always had a passion for science and completed a post-baccalaureate research program at the National Institutes of Health.
Dr. Palmer returned to NYC for medical school and received her medical degree from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harlem. Dr. Palmer is a strong advocate for women’s health rights, and during medical school she developed her interest for OB/GYN.
After medical school, Dr. Palmer completed her OB/GYN Residency at Richmond University Medical Center (a SUNY affiliate) in Staten Island, NY. Here Dr. Palmer received the Residency Program Award for Excellence in Obstetrics and Medical Student Teaching Award.
Dr. Palmer has a particular interest in general women’s health, as well as high risk obstetrics, family planning, contraception, and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Palmer has been an active member of American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology, serving as the Junior Fellow Secretary/Treasurer for her district.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and dog, as well as traveling, exploring new restaurants and yoga.
